Terms & Conditions

1. Agreement Overview

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") form a binding legal contract between Polymath Enterprises with Om solar ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") and the client ("Client," "you," or "your") executing a solar installation order. By accessing our website, estimating savings via our calculator, or signing our solar service contract, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms.

2. Scope of Services

OM Solar offers premium, customized solar energy engineering services in Dehradun and surrounding Uttarakhand regions, covering:

  • Physical and virtual 3D shadow-mapping and roof-load engineering assessments.
  • Customized solar array design and structural component mapping (high-strength hot-dip galvanized mounting structures).
  • Procurement and delivery of Tier-1 solar modules (approved under the MNRE ALMM list) and smart string or micro-inverters.
  • On-site installation, cabling, DCDB/ACDB array boxes, earthing kits, lightning arrestors, and testing.
  • Facilitating end-to-end net-metering applications and administrative files with the State Electricity Distribution Company (DISCOM).

3. Billing and Milestone Payments

Unless otherwise specified in a custom written quotation, standard billing milestones for residential and commercial solar installations are structured as follows:

  • Booking Advance: 20% of the total contract value to initiate engineering drawings and DISCOM feasibility approvals.
  • Material Procurement: 50% of the contract value upon delivery of solar modules, structures, and inverters to the installation site.
  • Installation Completion: 20% of the contract value immediately following the mounting and cabling of panels, structures, and electric array panels.
  • Commissioning & Net-Metering: 10% of the contract value upon successful net-metering installation and activation by DISCOM.

4. Government Subsidies & Approvals

For installations targeting Central or State subsidies under the PM Surya Ghar Yojana or state solar policies:

  • Feasibility Check: While OM Solar processes all administrative applications, official approval remains subject to utility (DISCOM) grid capacity constraints and physical inspectors.
  • Subsidy Disbursements: Government subsidies are disbursed directly to the Client's bank account or adjusted as per MNRE portal guidelines. OM Solar is not responsible for administrative processing delays by government portals, bank account mismatch issues, or policy revisions introduced by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE).

5. Equipment & Product Warranties

We utilize high-performance, weather-resilient Tier-1 components. The warranties are governed directly by module and inverter manufacturers:

  • Solar Panels: 25-Year performance warranty guaranteeing at least 80% generation efficiency.
  • Inverters: Standard 5-Year manufacturer warranty (extendable up to 10 years).
  • OM Solar Workmanship: 1-Year comprehensive installation warranty covering mounting structure stability and wiring integrity. We are not liable for faults arising from unauthorized structural modifications, severe physical impacts, or grid-voltage surges outside specified parameters.

6. Disclaimer of Performance

Estimated savings and generation ratios displayed on our online calculator or quotes are projections based on historical meteorological solar radiation databases for Dehradun and surrounding Uttarakhand regions. Actual daily and seasonal solar yields may vary based on cloud coverage, localized mountain shade profiles, particulate accumulation, monsoonal patterns, or winter snow cover.

7. Symbolic Content Disclaimer

All contents, graphics, calculations, illustrations, quotes, and projections displayed on this website are symbolic and intended solely for informational and general estimation purposes. They do not constitute binding financial, legal, or technical commitments. No legal consequences, claims, or liabilities can be filed or sustained against OM Solar (A Unit Of Polymath Enterprises), its directors, or its employees based on the content or calculations provided on this website.

8. Force Majeure

Neither party shall be held liable for failure or delay in executing project milestones due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to heavy landslides, cloudbursts, severe Himalayan blizzards, earthquakes, supply-chain embargoes, utility strikes, or state grid closures.

9. Dispute Resolution & Jurisdiction

Any dispute, difference, or litigation arising out of or in connection with our services, quotes, or invoices shall be subject to amicable settlement. If unresolved, all legal proceedings and settlements shall fall exclusively under the jurisdiction of the competent courts in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India.
